Agape Mobile Vet PLLC is not an emergency service. In the event of an emergency, please contact your primary veterinarian or the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center at Iowa State University.

Call, text, email, or use the site contact to provide your name, the town you are calling from, a brief description of your pet (e.g. 60 pound Labrador), and the best way to contact you. Please allow up to 24 hours for me to return your inquiry.

Appointments are scheduled around my regular job. Sometimes I am available during the day, but sometimes I am only available in the evening or on the weekend.

After the appointment has been scheduled, you will receive an invoice via email which allows you to pay via card or ACH. I can also accept card, cash, or check on site. For cash, please use exact change.

After arrival, your pet can be given pain medication, anxiety medication, or sedation as needed. This takes about 10 minutes to take effect. If your pet is still eating, this is a good time to spoil them with treats such as spray cheese, peanut butter, ice cream, cheeseburgers, or chocolate muffins. Avoid these foods prior to the appointment to prevent upset stomach.

When it is time, your pet will be given an medication that causes them to lie down and go to sleep. This usually happens quickly, in under 1 minute.

I offer to pray for all of my families. Please let me know if there is something specific you would like me to include in the prayer, or if you decline prayer.

The clay pawprint is made and then your pet will be placed in a Euthabag pet body bag. Garbage bags are never used.

If you elected cremation services, your pet will be placed in the truck bed, secured to a pet litter/stretcher, and protected by the truck bed cover. Ashes will be returned by USPS Priority Mail, unless otherwise noted.
